The California State Athletic Commission issued medical suspensions to nine fighters, including headliner Jamie Varner, from this past Sunday’s “WEC 46: Varner vs. Henderson” event, and five of the competitors could be out of action for up to six months.
While the majority of the suspensions were limited to two months, Varner, Kamal Shalorus, Charlie Valencia, Coty Wheeler and Will Campuzano were each suspended until June for a variety of serious injuries.
MMAjunkie.com recently requested and today received the full list of suspensions from the CSAC.
