WEC 44 draws 1,845 for $131,200 gate

World Extreme Cagefighting drew 1,845 attendees and a $131,200 gate for its Nov. 18 “WEC 44: Brown vs. Aldo” event.

Nevada State Athletic Commission Executive Director Keith Kizer today emailed the official numbers to MMAjunkie.com.

WEC 44 took place at The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas and aired on Versus. Jose Aldo scored a dominant second-round TKO victory over WEC featherweight champion Mike Brown in the night’s main event.
