Video: Bellator champ Eddie Alvarez submits Josh Neer at Bellator 17

It was a gamble for Bellator Fighting Championships, but the
organization dodged another bullet on Thursday.

That’s when Bellator lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez fought – and
submitted – former UFC fighter Josh Neer in a non-title fight at
Bellator 17 in Boston.

Bellator has made available highlights from the main-event bout, one
that assures a title fight between Alvarez and the winner of its current
lightweight tournament goes on as planned without any tarnishing of the
champ’s status.
