UFC 116 main-card additions include Silva vs. Akiyama, Soszynski vs. Bonnar II

Following Tuesday’s official announcement of UFC 116 and a headliner of UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar vs interim title-holder Shane Carwin, Ultimate Fighting Championship officials have added six additional fights to the July 3 card.
Main-card additions include Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Wanderlei Silva and a Krzysztof Soszynski vs. Stephan Bonnar rematch, both of which MMAjunkie.com previously reported.
Official for the un-aired preliminary card include Brendan Schaub vs. Chris Tuchscherer, Kendall Grove vs. Goran Reljic, Chris Lytle vs. Matt Brown, and Jon Madsen vs. Karlos Vemola.
