UFC 112 medical suspensions issued to seven fighters; Maia suspended up to 180 days

The Ultimate Fighting Championship issued medical suspensions to seven fighters following this past weekend’s UFC 112 event at Concert Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Among those suspended is headliner Demian Maia, who suffered a lopsided unanimous-decision loss to UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva at the April 10 headliner.
Maia’s suspension could last up to 180 days.
