UFC 110 Velasquez KO’s Nogueira – Round 1, 2:20

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Cain Velasquez

Round 1: No touch of gloves. They exchange punch combos. Velasquez lands with leg kicks. Velasquez connects with a left. Nogueira throws a jab and Velasquez bobs away. Velasquez hits with another leg kick. Velasquez tags Nogueira and Nogueira doesn’t even flinch. Velasquez lands a jab and leg kick. He lands the combo again. A high kick is blocked. Nogueira shoots out jabs and misses. Velasquez with another leg kick. Short exchange. Velasquez lands a knee to the body. Velasquez’s boxing looks much improved. He’s also utilizing kicks really well. Velasquez drops Nogueira with a left to the chin followed by a right just above Nogueira’s right ear. Velasquez drops five unanswered punches and Nogueira is out.
