LOS ANGELES – The UFC’s first visit to Los Angeles since May 2006 ended
with one of the more controversial outcomes in recent memory, but the
live gate was deemed a win.
UFC president Dana White said 16,000 fans packed Staples Center on Saturday night, generating a $1.9 million gate.
The official numbers will be certified early next week by the California State Athletic Commission.
