Tito Ortiz predicts “Fight of the Year” with Forrest Griffin at UFC 106

Saturday night’s headlining match between Forrest Griffin (16-6 MMA, 7-4 UFC) and Tito
Ortiz (15-6-1 MMA, 14-6-1 UFC) doesn’t seem to have quite the hype surrounding it that the two
generated prior to their original meeting in 2006.
Whether it be Ortiz’s layoff, Griffin’s recent losses or the multitude
of big-time MMA events in recent weeks, “UFC 106: Ortiz vs. Griffin II”
appears to be flying a bit under the radar.
But Ortiz believes missing one moment of his main-event bout with
Griffin at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas would be a mistake,
as he thinks the two may put on the “Fight of the Year.”
