Strikeforce confirms June 16 event at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles

As earlier reported by MMAjunkie.com, Strikeforce
today confirmed the promotion is headed to Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre on
June 16 for an event to coincide with the Electronic Entertainment Expo
(E3), a popular trade show for the computer and video-game industries.

The event, tentatively titled “Strikeforce: Los Angeles,” will air live
on Showtime.

The announcement was made during a luncheon promoting Electronic Arts’
MMA title, EA Sports MMA. Strikeforce will make a major appearance in
the video game as the “premier league” in which fighters compete.
