Jared Hess (10-1-1 MMA, 2-1 BFC), who fell one win shy of winning the organization’s season-one tournament, has joined the field for Bellator Fighting Championships’ season-two middleweight tourney, promotion officials today announced.
The signing comes just hours after MMAjunkie.com reported the addition of fellow middleweight Sean Loeffler to the field.
With the additions of Hess and Loeffler, the middleweight tournament field now stands at five. Eventually, eight competitors fight in a tournament format to win $100,000 and a chance to fight season-one champ and title-holder Hector Lombard.
