Pena vs. Vera scratched, Moore vs. Saffiedine, Healy vs. Travers at Strikeforce Challengers 8

While an undisclosed injury to female fighter Kerry Vera has forced the
cancellation of planned Strikeforce Challengers 8 with Julianna Pena,
the organization has added two new contests for the evening’s main card.

Strikeforce today announced that Nate Moore vs. Tarec Saffiedine and Pat
Healy vs. Bryan Travers would take place on the Showtime-broadcast
portion of the card.

Featuring a matchup between UFC veteran Matt Lindland and middleweight
prospect Kevin Casey, Strikeforce Challengers 8 takes place May 21 at
the Rose Garden in Portland, Ore.
