MMA Fighting spoke to Strikeforce welterweight champion Nick Diaz prior to Saturday night’s post-fight incident involving Jason “Mayhem” Miller and Jake Shields’ camp. Diaz touched on a whole host of topics: his upcoming fight against Hayato Sakurai and why he feels the Japanese fighter has been ducking him, why he prefers fighting in Japan, his belief that Georges St-Pierre has no interest in fighting him and Dana White‘s recent comment that Diaz needs to learn “how to play the game” in order to advance his career.
