Matt Hughes Discusses Lawler-Manhoef, Renzo Gracie in Abu Dhabi, UFC Future

SUNRISE, Fla. — Matt Hughes chose to accompany his good friend and training partner, Robbie Lawler, to Florida for his upcoming Strikeforce: Miami fight instead of traveling to Abu Dhabi for Wednesday’s UFC 112 press conference. That’s where MMA Fighting caught up with the former UFC welterweight champion, who is set to face Renzo Gracie on Apr. 10.

Hughes talked about why he turned down a personal request from Dana White, Lawler’s upcoming fight against Melvin Manhoef, facing Renzo Gracie and how many more fights he has left in him. Check out the video interview below.
