L.C. Davis vs. Javier Vazquez added to WEC 42 prelims on Aug. 9 in Las Vegas

Two more participants from the recently canceled “Affliction: Trilogy” event have found a home; L.C. Davis (13-2) and Javier Vazquez (13-2) have agreed to meet on Aug. 9 under the World Extreme Cagefighting banner.

The featherweights meet on the preliminary card of “WEC 42: Torres vs. Bowles” at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

UFC president Dana White announced the fighter signings during a media call today, and WEC officials have since confirmed with MMAjunkie.com that Davis and Vazquez have been added to the WEC 42 preliminary card.
