Lawmakers unanimously passed a bill Tuesday that will regulate amateur mixed martial arts in Iowa.

“I believe this regulation is long overdue from the reports we have received of the exploitation by some amateur promoters in the state of Iowa,” Labor Commissioner Dave Neil told MMA Fighting.
