Many were shocked when “The Ultimate Fighter 8″ cast member George Roop
(10-6 MMA, 0-1 WEC) made the drop from lightweight to bantamweight
while skipping over the featherweight division.
Now it appears Roop will fill in that gap.
MMAjunkie.com has learned from sources close to the event that Roop has
verbally agreed to face Leonard Garcia (13-5 MMA, 3-2 WEC) in a 145-pound matchup on the
preliminary card of WEC 47.
