Former UFC fighter Matt Arroyo awarded BJJ black belt

After seven years of studying the craft, former UFC fighter and “The
Ultimate Fighter 6″ semifinalist Matt Arroyo earned his black belt in
Brazilian jiu jitsu.
The 27-year-old fighter today told MMAjunkie.com he received the belt in a recent ceremony.
The honor came from his longtime instructor, Rob Kahn, the head of the
Florida-based Gracie Tampa camp who earned his own black belt from
grappling and MMA legend Royce Gracie.
