Life dealt him one setback after another, and after his hopes to walk onto Ohio State’s famed football team were crushed, he found a new athletic outlet.

But like so many other things he tried, “Afrozilla” had a rude welcome to the world of mixed martial arts. But his perseverance paid off and now has led him to the main event of Saturday’s “King of the Cage: Infusion” show.
