Brad Pickett vs. newcomer Demetrious Johnson official for WEC 48 prelims

A bantamweight bout between fast-rising British veteran Brad Pickett (18-4 MMA, 1-0 WEC) and World Extreme Cagefighting newcomer Demetrious Johnson (5-0 MMA, 0-0 WEC) is set for next month’s WEC 48 event.
WEC officials today announced the bout, and they later confirmed with MMAjunkie.com that the matchup is slated for the night’s preliminary card.
WEC 48 marks the WEC’s pay-per-view debut and takes place April 24 at ARCO Arena in Sacramento, Calif.
